    There will be a Pinery community informational meeting on April 23rd at 7 p.m. in the Pinery Fire Station meeting room. Kristen Garrison with the Colorado State Forest Service will be the guest speaker. She will be addressing the subject of the pine beetle in our area and how to protect our trees. 1/7/14   NEW WASTE MANAGEMENT OPTION
    To improve customer service efficiency and effectiveness, Waste Management has provided a new option for The Pinery. A special team of customer service agents has been assigned to handle all HOA issues. Instead of calling customer service you can now email. If email is not convenient for you, the present customer service number, 303-797-1600, can still be called. If you choose to call, please be sure to tell them you are with the Pinery Preferred Program. Click above for details.
1/6/14   HAVE SNOW SHOVELING NEEDS?
    An article was placed in the Pinery newsletter asking for teens who may be interested in doing snow removal for residents in the Pinery. Three teens have responded, so if you are in need of snow removal and would like to hire a young person, please call the PHA office at 303-841-8572.

    The Pinery Homeowners’ Association is in need of candidates to fill one position on the Executive Board and one position on the Community Services Committee (CSC) beginning in January 2015. 10/27/14   PINERY WATER DISTRICT PROJECT
    The Pinery Water and Wastewater District is beginning construction on a two million gallon potable water storage tank. This tank will provide improved reliability and more storage for fire flow situation to the surrounding community. Click above for more information.
10/27/14   BAYOU GULCH CONNECTOR TRAIL
    A new 4-mile soft-surface trail has been completed on Bayou Gulch Open Space and is now open to the public for non-motorized use.
4/29/14   2014 SLASH/MULCH SITE
    Beginning May 3, the DC Slash/Mulch site will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturdays. The location is 1400 Caprice Dr. in Castle Rock. Click above for more information.

10/01/13   MOUNTAIN LION AWARENESS
    With the number of deer living in the Pinery the possibility of mountain lion sitings may increase. Mountain lions have always been in the area but it is good to be alert and aware of your surroundings.

    PHA general meeting, September 11. Newcomers' meeting will be held at 6:45 p.m. and main meeting at 7:30 in the Fire Station meeting room.
9/10/13   COUNTYWIDE RECYCLING EVENT
    Free countywide multi-product recycling event on October 5, 9 to 1 at Castle View High School, Castle Rock. Electronics recycling, paper shredding, cell phone recycling and clothing donation included.
