  free countyside multi-product recycling event

A residential-only multi-product recycling event – accepting electronics; personal documents for shredding; and clothing donation – will be held on Saturday, October 5, from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m., at Castle View High School, 5254 N. Meadows Drive, in Castle Rock.

Personal document shredding is limited to four file-size boxes or kitchen size bags of paper at no cost. Unlimited, yet specific personal items for electronics recycling will be accepted. No disposal fees will be collected.

This event is made possible through the partnership of: Douglas County Government, Douglas County Sheriff’s Office, Douglas County School District, The Town of Parker, The Town of Castle Rock, and The City of Lone Tree. Shredding of personal documents and electronics recycling is made possible thanks to sponsors Shred-It™ and Metech Recycling™. Other event sponsors and partners include Cell Phones for Soldiers, Chick Fil A, e-Cycle, Sprouts Farmers Market, Einstein Brothers Bagels, Crowfoot Valley Coffee, Boulevard Pizza Kitchen, Colorado Community Media, and Goodwill.

Donations will be accepted to support Douglas County Search and Rescue.
