Kids Have Great Fun at the Pinery Fishing Derby

at Bingham Lake

Each year Pinery kids, ages 4 to 17, head to Bingham Lake with their fishing poles for the Kids' Fishing Derby.The lake is a beautiful place to fish. A Douglas County ranger is present to help the Pinery volunteers and often times brings fishing poles and other goodies for the kids. The fish are measured and awards are given in a variety of categories. This event affords the opportunity for fishing and good family and neighborhood fun. 

You can sign up ahead of time on the Picnic Registration form or on the day of the event at the Bingham Lake shelter.
