Important Notice: Upcoming Road Construction Project at The Pinery Entrance.

Pinery Homeowners,

We would like to make you aware of an upcoming road construction project that will affect access to and from The Pinery.

As growth and development continue in our area, CDOT is requiring improvements to the entrance corridor and surrounding intersection to improve traffic flow, increase capacity, and enhance safety. Construction is scheduled to begin on August 31, 2026, and continue through December 23, 2026.

The portion of the project expected to have the most significant impact on access to and from The Pinery will be Phase 1, which is scheduled from August 31 through October 9, 2026. During this phase, crews will be constructing an additional southbound turn lane from N. Pinery Parkway onto Parker Road. Residents should anticipate the greatest potential for traffic delays, lane shifts, and changing traffic patterns during this period and are encouraged to allow extra travel time when entering or exiting the community.

Construction Timeline

Phase 1 - N. Pinery Parkway east of Parker Road

(Additional turn lane to Parker Road heading south)

Start Construction - 8/31/2026

Finish Construction - 10/9/2026

Phase 2 - Parker Road

(Additional turn lane to N. Pinery Pkwy heading west)

Start Construction - 9/14/2026

Finish Construction - 10/7/2026

Phase 3 - N. Pinery Parkway west of Parker Road

(Additional lane to receive the added Parker Road turn lane)

Start Construction - 10/7/2026

Finish Construction - 11/13/2026

Phase 4 - Traffic Signals & Signage and Striping

(New signals on the NE and NW corners of the intersection)

Start Construction - 10/8/2026

Finish Construction - 12/23/2026

During construction, residents should expect traffic impacts, including lane shifts, reduced speeds, periodic delays, and changing traffic patterns when entering and exiting the community. Access to The Pinery will remain open throughout the project; however, we encourage residents to allow additional travel time, particularly during peak traffic periods, and to use alternate routes when possible.

We understand that construction can be disruptive, but these improvements are intended to accommodate the area's continued growth and improve the safety and efficiency of the intersection for years to come.

We will continue to share updates and any additional information as the project progresses.

Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Kind regards,

The Pinery Homeowners Association
