Fall Leaf Collection Program
As the seasons change, so do your yardwork needs. You can now keep leaves out of the landfill by taking them to Douglas County’s new Fall Leaf Collection site, open Saturdays through Nov. 18 at 1400 Caprice Drive in Castle Rock.
Feeding Wildlife Puts Everyone at Risk
Colorado is fortunate to have a diversity of wildlife. Our elk population is larger than that of any other state or Canadian province. In addition, our state is home to an abundant, thriving deer population.
The Colorado Parks and Wildlife—whose mission is to protect and enhance the state’s wild creatures—knows how much people love Colorado wildlife. They love to watch the animals, learn about them, photograph them, hunt them and, on occasion, even feed them.
Special Fall Event
Apex Waste Solutions is providing a special event to help you get rid of those extra bags of pine needles, leaves, and yard debris from yard clean-up (up to 5 bags) and one bulk item if needed. This will occur on the following Wednesdays: September 11th, September 18th, September 25th and October 2nd. Click here to find your street and day.
Hail Damage to your Roof or Siding?
Hopefully, you went through the recent hailstorm without any damage. If you had damage here are the general requirements for replacing your roof or siding.
If you are replacing an existing, previously approved, roof or siding with NO change in color, material, texture or shape it is viewed as maintenance and does NOT require a submittal.
